"Piper" is a black, curly girl with a fun- loving temperament who shares her life with her owner, Linda Schulz in Missouri. Linda formerly owned and bred Best in Show winning Cocker Spaniels, and after taking a break from the pure-bred show world, became enchanted with the Portuguese Water Dog and came back full force with this little dynamite! Linda has fallen head over heels in love with Piper and has enjoyed watching her very short, but exciting show career!
"Piper" was piloted to her championship and grand championship by professional handlers Laura King and Robin Novack. She won a big 5-point major from the puppy class at the large Louisville Cluster right before the world shut down for Covid..... and then came out guns-a-blazing the week of the Royal Canin National Dog Show in Florida with two big wins. She quickly finished her championship and by March of 2021 had smashed through her Grand Champion requirements in three weekends with four 5-point majors!
