"Dixie"

This funny, sweet, bouncy, jumpy, energetic girl loves EVERYONE and EVERYTHING! She was the pick from the first litter out of her dam "Soda" and "Brodie." (Although she has a very handsome champion brother named Dawson as well!) She is the exact result of what I hoped for when I bred her dam to her sire... I couldn't be more thrilled with what she has turned out to be!

Dixie was shown very sparingly and "randomly" to her championship. She won a 4-point major from the puppy class, then picked up another major and 2 singles before taking a pause to raise her first litter. She finished her championship in early 2019 with her 3rd major under the able guidance of Erin Meyers.

This black, very typey bitch is heavily boned and a round, robust girl. She has a head piece that surprises you when you put your hands on it, and everything about her just screams PORTUGUESE WATER DOG. I am very excited about what she is going to bring to the future of Patriot PWDs.

She is everything a Portuguese Water Dog should be... I feel blessed to have bred and been able to share life with this wonderful girl.

Dixie is now retired. She lives with Emma Schilp in Washington, D.C.
